Select Bios for Cast and Crew

Loretta Hintz delights in the absurd, the childishly imaginative, and the improbable. She enjoys using film as a way to push boundaries, using humor as her trojan horse. Gender, sex, fear, and risk are some of her favorite topics of exploration. She has had films in festivals around the globe, ranging in topics from lesbo drag queens to Title IX and her relationship to sports. She is thrilled to be sharing this beautiful and poignantly perverted story with the big, wonderful world.

Dyan McBride is an actor, director, singer and teacher.  As an actress and director she has worked with numerous theater companies, performing all over the United States and in Europe, and does TV and film work in commercials and industrials..  She serves on the acting faculty at NCTC, UC Davis, Solano College and is an artistic associate with 42nd Street Moon.

Jennifer D'Urso is a San Francisco and Los Angeles based Cinematographer and Animation Director who whose work has screened at The Pacific Film Archive, on The Sundance Channel, and in art galleries and film festivals worldwide. Jennifer received her BFA in Film and Media Arts from California College of the Arts in San Francisco. www.jenniferdurso.com

Kristina Willemse is an Oakland based filmmaker whose work has shown venues ranging from Galley5 in Virginia to Saint John's International Women's Film Festival in Canada. She received her BFA in Film and Media Arts from California College of the Arts. www.kristinawillemse.com

 

Mercedes Segesvary is a visionary artist and writer. Her credits include published stories, gallery exhibitions and writing and directing for stage. Her various experiences have helped shape the creations that will one day show in museums, publications and theatres around the world.

Sandy Handsher, professor of screenwriting, film history, and cinema studies (Hitchcock, Scorsese, Noir, Women Directors, Iranian Cinema, Cuban Cinema, Italian Neorealism), is also a respected script consultant, writer of program notes for several film festivals, published travel writer, as well as screenwriter. Sandy has also written and performed solo theater pieces.

Jennifer Lin has a degree in Arts and Design and a Masters of Architecture. Her award winning short, The Essay Assignment screened at over 16 film festivals nationwide, including Frameline, New Fest, and NY Asian Film Fest. She is a political activist, known by the media as the Asian Poster Bride for Marriage Equality. Her latest project Look Again takes on the controversial issue of Immigration.

Julie Phelps has occupied the last decade of her life completing a degree in psychology from Macalester College, studying art history in Amsterdam, and living and working as a visual artist at Nierika Eco-village in Mexico. Currently, Julie is establishing herself artistically in San Francisco, acting, painting, dancing and doing most anything she can get her fingers into.

Tyler Stanley is a freelance scriptwriter and poet. Ms. Stanley devotes her non-writing time to balancing running a Bay Area company and working for a local agency, both serving survivors of Traumatic Brain Injury.
